I was born and bred in Salford and went to the same school as Peter Hook from New Order, Albert Finney and Mike Leigh the film producer. I now live in Monton Village, Eccles with my 2 Westies Winston & Lulu and travel to work up the M60 to Rev Towers.

I love all kinds of music, films, a hot curry, a good party and couldn't live without Sky+HD.

21 years in the business -yes, I started young, answering phones for a certain Ginger Mr.Evans at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester aged 14.

Started appearing on-air on programmes from 15 and had my own Weekend Show on Key 103 aged 18.

Stayed at Piccadilly / Key 103 / Magic until 1999 working as presenter / head producer / programmes-co-ordinator working alongside the Programme Directors. Some of the high-lights included producing shows live from DisneyWorld's 25th Anniversary Party, being the 1st person on air in the Key 103 studio after the Manchester Bomb, producing the Take That `Announcement` of their split live on air, the Queen Megamix tribute on the day Freddie Mercury died and the day Manchester got the Commonwealth Games for 2002 (in 1995).

I've been very lucky working alongside radio legends over the years who are all still good mates....Mike Sweeney, Dave Ward & Umberto, Susie Mathis, Phil Wood, Scott Mills, Pete Mitchell, James Stannage and a few people who I think are still knocking around....Wayne Dutton, James H.Reeve, Steve Penk and our station Manager John `Evo` Evington.

Worked for various radio stations including Key 103, Breakfast on Century Radio, Capital Gold Manchester, Magic 1152, Tower FM, Imagine FM, and my last job before coming to `The Rev` was broadcasting to 27 stations across the UK for a network Weekend Breakfast Show.

It's great to be at 96.2 The Revolution as it's almost like Piccadilly Key 103 was in the early days. A bunch of talented people on and off air, willing to work hard and play hard to make some great exciting, fun radio shows for the people of North East Manchester. It's back-to-basics radio. We have loads of fun and are doing what YOU the listener would want to hear. It's not rocket science and we're not just 'voices and egos'- we love to hear the end product just like you and love the feedback we're getting already from the re-launched station. Spread the word and get all your friends, family and collegues all turned on to 96.2 The Revolution.
