A Saddleworth Councillor has been found guilty of downloading indecent images of young boys.
67 year old Paul Michael Buckley appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court charged with 17 counts of making or possessing indecent images of naked boys.
Buckley, of Dobcross, who is an independent Parish Councillor, has been found guilty by the jury of the first 16 counts, but the 17th was discharged.
He must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register and will be sentenced in the New Year.
