Police have charged four men from Heywood after three shops were robbed with an imitation gun in Heywood.
Warren Taylor (born 16/03/1993) of Coverdale Close, Heywood, has been charged with attempted armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used.
Jordan Thompson (born 26/03/1995), of Barley Hall Street in Heywood has been charged with 2 counts of armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used and attempted armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used.
Carol Lee born (born 07/04/1994), of Furness Avenue in Heywood has been charged with 2 counts of armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used and attempted armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used.
Kurtis Berresford (born 24/10/1996), of Charles Street in Heywood has been charged with attempted armed robbery where an imitation firearm was used.
The charges relate to three armed robberies that took place in Heywood on Wednesday 21 October 2015, Tuesday 3 November 2015 and Wednesday 4 November 2015.
The four men appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on Friday 26 February 2016 and were released on bail, next appearing at Minshull Street Crown Court on 29/03/2016.
